The Workforce Entry Center is a gateway to comprehensive and quality-driven career and employment resources available to students, educators, employers and the public within the communities surrounding the College.
This unique facility serves you as a primary source of information and resources related to education and training, employment and careers – all aimed at strengthening and supporting not just you, but also the economic development of the entire Delaware Valley region.
Services
Whether you are a potential employee, a current employee or an employer, the WEC provides services to support you in meeting your goals through assessment, skill development, labor exchange services or funding for training in high-priority occupations. These services are a valuable part of the College’s goal to embrace lifelong learning and assessment of workplace skills through education, training and ongoing evaluation of abilities and interests.
Candidates seeking employment
Designed and staffed in partnership with PA CareerLink®, the WEC is a welcoming, state-of-the art facility providing computer workstations, presentation facilities, resource areas and office equipment for self-directed career development and employment-related activities.
At the WEC, expert staff is available to provide support for a broad range of career and employment issues. Equipment and assistance are available upon request for individuals with disabilities.
Employers
Our staff and other resources are equally available to support employers seeking high-quality employees. We can provide candidate-screening assistance, interview space and recruiting facilities. Our staff is also knowledgeable in labor market information, hiring practices and employer benefits; we provide employers with timely and relevant information or assistance.
